Rather like the Arsenal fans last week I reckon that many West Ham severely underestimated Liecester yesterday. They scored two good and well deserved goals against us in the first half and we could not contain Mahrez, the Jap or Vardy. In the second half we improved thanks to the presence of Obiang. We still lacked the imagination though to create more than one golden chance from open play.
Bilic wil have gained more knowledge about his squad and the owners will know how much we need another striker.

We were not great first half but looked pretty good second half.
Hart should have been sent off and we should have had a penalty. Would have been a very different match.
Can't see too much wrong that Bilic did, he had to include Oxford after the arsenal game or there would have been uproar on here. Oxford, unfortunately was giving them too much time and space in front of the back four, which is exactly what he was supposed to be there for.
Not really a match to over react to.

Agree with Stirling about Oxford. He was a center half in mid park being asked to guard against a threat that didn't exist. A more experienced player or perhaps just a genuine midfield player would have pushed higher up the pitch and joined the attack. In fact exactly like obiang did. I thought he looked class.

I defiantly think we need to add a different option to our front line. I think Hernandez would have found a way past huth and Morgan whilst an Austin type player wouldn't have faired much better than the current crop.
The inclusion of Zarate in our first eleven worries me. He dosent work hard enough to support the defence and is too greedy and lacking in pace to support the attack. He is Sullivans pet and I hope Bilic is strong enough to bin him. He also seemed to occupy space that Payet wants to roam in.

We made a mistake playing Oxford, but hard to drop him after the arsenal game. This maybe a blessing in disguise and sort out any attitude that would've crept in after such a win the week before. As for Sam , do fuck off we were awful last year against Southampton, palace and Stoke, villa,wba and did not exactly grind out a result those days.
